Gigi joined us at story time today. The fire chief was there to read a story and talk to the kids about fire safety. Tessa only likes the craft part of story time so she doesn’t really pay attention or participate in the songs and dances. Today she found the kids corner and decided puzzles […]

Tessa is 30 months old! (2.5 years old)
I can’t believe I have a 2.5 year old! I remember the day Tessa was born like it was yesterday and in the blink of an eye she is already two and a half years old. This show up on the Time Hop app today and I feel like it is still fitting. Tessa has […]
See MoreAuntie Day
Today we went to lunch with Auntie at Tummy Stuffers. It is my favorite sandwich shop by Papa’s yard. Papa joined us too! Tessa already had noodles at home so she had Aunt Polly chips there. On our way home Landon was fussy so we stopped at the Canyon Crest shopping center. Auntie took Tessa […]
See More1st major fall
Tonight Tessa was helping me make cornbread for dinner and was standing on a chair. She turned around to talk to Daddy and the chair tipped causing her to go crashing to the floor. She hit her arm and face pretty bad. Her mouth was bleeding because she cut the inside of her lip but […]
See MoreBeach day 2016
We headed to Carlsbad this morning to meet up with Aunt Pam and Tina for a beach day. Tessa loves playing in the sand volleyball court so I knew she would love the beach. She was great on the drive over and couldn’t wait to make a star fish when we arrived. Tessa had fun […]
See MorePlay date
We haven’t had a play date with Valerie and Milo in a long time! It was nice to get the kids together like we did when everyone was on maternity leave. When we arrived Valerie and Milo were napping so Tessa jumped in the bouncer, played with the water table, and threw the ball to […]
See MorePizza sandwich
Tessa got creative with her pizza lunchable tonight and made it into a sandwich! She normally just licks all the sauce off so I’m glad she actually found a way to eat the entire pizza.

Tonight we tried out an ice cream place near UCR. It is similar to a Diddy Riese which we love! Tessa chose a sprinkle cookie and vanilla ice cream. She enjoyed the ice cream more than the cookie. Although it wasn’t as good as Diddy Riese it is much closer!
See MoreDisneyland with Daddy
Today James took Tessa to Disneyland alone for the first time. They both had an amazing time and James is now jealous of all the alone trips I’ve had with her. He said she pretty much knows her way around the whole park. It wasn’t busy so they met a lot of characters and rode […]
